By downloading, installing, accessing, or using the Resolve mobile application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.
2. DESCRIPTION OF SERVICE
Resolve is a mobile application designed to support individuals in their recovery from pornography addiction. The App provides:
- Personalized assessment questionnaires and analysis
- Educational content and recovery resources
- Goal setting and progress tracking tools
- AI-powered therapeutic support ("Banko")
- Panic button for crisis intervention
- Content blocking and accountability features
- Community support features
- Streak tracking and motivational tools
3. ELIGIBILITY AND AGE REQUIREMENTS
You must be at least 13 years old to use this App. By using the App, you represent and warrant that you meet these age requirements.
4. USER ACCOUNTS AND REGISTRATION
4.1 Account Creation - To access certain features, you must create an account by providing accurate, current, and complete information including your email address and creating a secure password.
4.2 Account Security - You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
4.3 Account Termination - We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or engage in harmful behavior.
5. SUBSCRIPTION AND PAYMENT TERMS
5.1 Subscription Plans - The App offers premium subscription services with enhanced features. Subscription details, pricing, and billing cycles are displayed within the App and may vary by region.
5.2 Payment Processing - All payments are processed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Your subscription will automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
5.3 Refunds - All refund requests must be made through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store according to their respective refund policies. We do not process refunds directly. Please contact Apple or Google for any refund inquiries.
5.4 Price Changes - Subscription prices may change with notice provided through the App or app stores. Changes will take effect at your next renewal cycle.
6. PRIVACY AND DATA COLLECTION
6.1 Personal Information - We collect and process personal information as described in our Privacy Policy, including assessment responses, progress data, and usage analytics.
6.2 Health and Sensitive Data - The App collects sensitive health-related information about addiction recovery. This information is stored securely and used solely to provide personalized support services.
6.3 AI Analysis - Your questionnaire responses may be processed by artificial intelligence systems to provide personalized analysis and recommendations.
6.4 Data Retention - We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services, comply with legal obligations, and resolve disputes.
7. ACCEPTABLE USE POLICY
7.1 Prohibited Activities - You agree NOT to:
- Use the App for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations
- Interfere with or disrupt the App's functionality
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
- Share your account credentials with others
- Reverse engineer, modify, or create derivative works of the App
- Use the App to harm, harass, or threaten others
- Share inappropriate content through any community features
7.2 Content Standards - Any user-generated content must be respectful, appropriate, and supportive of recovery goals. We reserve the right to remove content that violates these standards.
8. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS
8.1 Our Rights - The App, including all content, features, functionality, graphics, software, and underlying technology, is owned by us and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
8.2 Limited License - We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms.
8.3 User Content - You retain ownership of any personal information and content you provide, but grant us a license to use, store, and process this information to provide our services.
9. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
9.1 Integrations - The App integrates with third-party services including:
- Supabase (database and authentication)
- OpenRouter AI (analysis services)
- RevenueCat (subscription management)
- Apple App Store and Google Play Store
9.2 Third-Party Terms - Your use of third-party services is subject to their respective terms of service and privacy policies.
10. DISCLAIMERS AND LIMITATIONS
10.1 Medical Disclaimer - THE APP IS NOT A SUBSTITUTE FOR PROFESSIONAL MEDICAL OR THERAPEUTIC TREATMENT. The App provides educational and support tools but does not constitute medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult qualified healthcare professionals for medical concerns.
10.2 AI Limitations - AI-powered features, including analysis and therapeutic support, are automated tools and may not always be accurate or appropriate for every situation. Use your judgment and seek professional help when needed.
10.3 Service Availability - We strive to maintain service availability but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. The App may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or technical issues.
10.4 Limitation of Liability - TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES.
11. EMERGENCY SITUATIONS
11.1 Crisis Resources - If you are experiencing a mental health crisis or emergency, contact emergency services (911 in the US) or a crisis hotline immediately. The App's panic button feature is a support tool but not a replacement for emergency services.
11.2 App Limitations - The App cannot provide immediate human intervention in crisis situations. Always prioritize professional emergency services when needed.
12. CONTENT AND COMMUNITY FEATURES
12.1 Educational Content - Educational materials provided in the App are for informational purposes and based on research and best practices in addiction recovery.
12.2 Community Guidelines - If participating in community features, maintain respectful, supportive communication that promotes recovery and well-being.
12.3 Content ModerationWe reserve the right to moderate, remove, or restrict access to content that violates our community standards or these Terms.
13. UPDATES AND MODIFICATIONS
13.1 App Updates - We may release updates to improve functionality, security, or user experience. Some updates may be required to continue using the App.
13.2 Terms Updates - We may modify these Terms at any time. Significant changes will be communicated through the App or via email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
14. TERMINATION
14.1 Termination by You - You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us or following in-app termination procedures.
14.2 Termination by Us - We may terminate or suspend your access immediately for violations of these Terms or for any reason with or without notice.
14.3 Effect of Termination - Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately. Data deletion is handled according to our Privacy Policy and applicable laws.
15. GEOGRAPHIC RESTRICTIONS
The App is intended for users worldwide but may not be available in all jurisdictions. You are responsible for compliance with local laws and regulations.
16. INDEMNIFICATION
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Company, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the App or violation of these Terms.
17. DISPUTE RESOLUTION
17.1 Governing Law - These Terms are governed by the laws of Bulgaria, without regard to conflict of law principles.
17.2 Class Action Waiver - You agree to resolve disputes individually and waive the right to participate in class action lawsuits.
18. SEVERABILITY
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
19. ENTIRE AGREEMENT
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the use of the App.
